† Amamiya Kazuhiko is the personality that surfaced shortly after the Metropolitan Police Department detective, Kobayashi Yousuke, was placed in custody for the murder of a serial killer, Hisashi Shimazu. Proving himself to be a very good criminal profiler, police often came to him for help in difficult cases while he was in prison. Eventually, he was released after proof that a third personality, Nishizono Shinji, had been responsible for the death of Hisashi Shimazu. He joined a private criminal research facility run by Izono Machi thereafter. There are at least three personalities existing alongside the the two dominant personalities Amamiya Kazuhiko and Nishizono Shinji. Namely, these are; Kobayashi Yousuke, Murata Kiyoshi, and blind young woman named Amamiya Mina. It is revealed later on that these personalities (including Nishizono Shinji) were based on real people who had died in a fire "Kobayashi Yousuke" had been involved in some twenty years ago. In addition to this, it is revealed that it was in fact Nishizono Shinji who had taken in Kobayashi Yousuke's personality that survived the fire and that Amamiya Kazuhiko himself is originally Nishizono Shinji. |
